In dire need of caffeine as I was driving to attend a meeting in the big smoke recently, I decided the best option for me was to “drink and drive”. I decided to call through Macca’s for an Espresso.

It was early and hardly anyone was around, least of all at the drive through. I made my way to the ordering point and waited for someone to respond to my presence.

The response came, but it was not what I expected… “Welcome to McDonald’s drive through. Please wait here. One of our team members will take your order shortly.”

I guess the next step is to outsource this part to India…..
